**Ace High Social Club - Card Player Agreement**This Card Play Agreement ("Agreement") sets forth the terms and conditions for participation incard games at Ace High Social Club ("the Club"). By signing this Agreement, the undersignedplayer ("Player") acknowledges and agrees to abide by the following provisions:**1. Acknowledgment of Fair Play:**The Club's card games involve fair play. Fair play ensures fairness and compliance with localregulations. The Club reserves the right to enforce fair play rules to maintain integrity andequality among players.**2. Rake-Free Policy:**The Club operates on a rake-free policy, distinguishing itself from traditional poker rooms thatcollect a percentage of the pot as a fee. Instead, all proceeds collected by the Club are derivedfrom hourly cover charges, membership dues, voluntary tips and gratuities provided by players.This policy fosters a friendly and supportive gaming environment where players can enjoy cardgames without the burden of additional fees like raked pots.**3. Optional Tipping and Gratuity:**Tipping and gratuity are customary expressions of appreciation for the Club's services andhospitality. While tipping is entirely optional, it is encouraged as a gesture of goodwill towardsthe Club and its staff. Players have the flexibility to choose how they wish to tip. The Clubappreciates the generosity of players who contribute to the upkeep and success of theestablishment through their voluntary tips.**4. Support for the Club:**By participating in card games at the Club, players actively support the Club's mission andoperations. The Club relies on the patronage and contributions of players to maintain itsfacilities, provide quality service, and host enjoyable gaming experiences. Players are integralmembers of the Club's community and play a vital role in its continued success and growth.**5. Agreement to the Terms:**The Club and its players mutually agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.By signing at the bottom of this document, the Player confirms their understanding of theseprovisions and their commitment to upholding them during their participation in card games atthe Club's premises.**6. Release of Liability:**While the Club prioritizes the safety and well-being of its patrons, participation in card gamesinvolves inherent risks. The Player acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with theirpresence on the premises and participation in card games. The Club shall not be liable for anypersonal injury, property damage, or other harm incurred during such activities. The Club alsomaintains the right to use patrons' photos or videos at any time.**7. Governing Law:**This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of LaramieCounty. Any disputes arising under or related to this Agreement shall be resolved througharbitration in accordance with the rules and procedures of the American Arbitration Association.IN WITNESS WHEREOF , the Player has executed this Agreement as of the date first abovewritten.General Rules1.**Membership and Age Requirements**All participants must be members of the Ace High Social Club or registered guests. Participantsmust be at least 21 years of age. Valid identification must be presented upon request.2.**Behavior and Conduct**Respectful behavior towards all members, guests, and staff is mandatory. Abusive language,disruptive behavior, or cheating will not be tolerated. Any form of harassment, discrimination, orviolence is strictly prohibited.3.**Dress Code**Casual, neat attire is required. No offensive clothing or items that could be deemedinappropriate.4.**Alcohol and Smoking**Alcoholic beverages are permitted but must be consumed responsibly. Smoking, includinge-cigarettes, is only allowed in designated areas.5.**Game Integrity**The integrity of the game must be maintained at all times. Collusion, cheating, or any unfairpractices are strictly prohibited.6.**Game Rules**All games will be conducted according to standard poker rules as specified by the club. Dealerdecisions are final. Disputes will be resolved by the floor manager.7.**Betting and Chips**All bets must be made with official Ace High Social Club chips. Chip dumping or transferringchips between players is not allowed. Minimum and maximum buy-ins for each game will beenforced.8.**Seating and Table Etiquette**Players must remain seated during hands. No cell phone usage at the table during hands.Players must act in turn and avoid unnecessary delays.9.**Player Responsibilities**Players are responsible for protecting their own hands. Cards must remain in sight of the dealerand other players at all times. Misdeals must be reported immediately.Tournament Rules10.**Tournament Registration**Registration must be completed before the start of the tournament. Late entries may beaccepted according to that days’ policies.11.**Tournament Conduct**All general poker rules apply. Players must follow the specific rules for each tournament format.12.**Payouts and Prizes**Payout structures will be announced prior to the start of each tournament. Prizes must becollected in person.Financial Regulations13.**Rake and Fees**The club will never collect a rake from any pot. There will be a fee for tournament entry.14.**Cash Handling**All financial transactions must be conducted through the club’s cashier cage. Players areresponsible for their own money and chips.Security and Safety15.**Surveillance**The poker room is under constant video surveillance for security purposes. Tampering withsecurity equipment is prohibited.16.**Emergency Procedures**In case of emergency, follow the instructions of staff and security personnel. Fire exits andsafety equipment locations are clearly marked.Amendments and Enforcement17.**Amendments**The Ace High Social Club reserves the right to amend these rules and regulations at any time.Members will be notified of any significant changes.18.**Enforcement**Violations of these rules may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent expulsion from theclub. All decisions regarding enforcement are final.Poker Specific Rules1.**Order of Hands Shown**If there’s action on the river, the bettor/raiser shows their cards first upon action completion. Ifthe action goes “check check” on the river, showing cards starts to the left of the dealer button.2.**Betting Motion**Methodically placed bets over the bet-line are okay, and any remaining amount in your handCAN be pulled back. Any chips that are dropped out of the air past the bet-line is considered astring-bet.3.**Straddles**Under the Gun and Button Straddles ONLY (double straddles, triple etc. allowed ONLY wheninitiated by UTG) (action begins on the player to the left of the straddle).4.**Forward Motion**A bet is only valid once it has crossed the bet-line - forward motion does not qualify (anyperceived “angling” i.e. moving chips forward, looking at opponents, stopping before the bet-linewill be cause for a warning/club removal).5.**Running the Board Multiple Times**If two people want to run it twice, but one person wants to run it once, it is run once - thesmallest requested number of runouts is, trumps all. You CAN run it more than once for a sidepot. Three (3) is the maximum number of runouts.6.**Smoking/Vaping**Smoking and vaping indoors is not allowed. Please go out back to smoke/vape7.**Qualifying a Dead/Mucked Hand**A hand is declared dead with any forward motion/perceived abandonment of the hand. It doesNOT have to hit the muck for the cards to be declared dead. An accidental muck in a sidepot/bomb pot situation - dealer discretion/call floor.8.**Pot-Commited Chip Discrepancy**If you act out of turn on accident, the money is NOT committed. If you act out of turn 3 or moretimes in a session, the money IS committed. If someone bets out of turn, and the person behindthem raises, the initial person to act out of turn can pull back the money. (I.e. out-of-turn actioncan only be taken back if there’s a raise from behind)9.**Exposed Cards**If a card is exposed while being dealt, the card is officially dead. This exposed card is used asthe burn card. If one of the first two cards dealt are exposed, it is a misdeal. If a player fumblestheir own card, whoever sees it sees it; it does not become table knowledge.10.**Missed Blinds**Missed blind = no straddle - you must post the blind.11.**Mucking Into Another Players Cards**If a hand is mucked into another unprotected hand, the hand is NOT dead. The player will havethe opportunity to whisper the exact cards they had to the dealer. The dealer will then pick up allfour cards, confirm them. If the player CANNOT recite the exact cards to the dealer, suitincluded, the cards are dead.12.**Intentionally Exposing Cards**Showing a card to your opponent is okay, ONLY when it’s heads up.13.**Language at the Table**English only at the tables.14.**”Sweating” Another Players Hand**It is okay to “sweat” other hands in a CASH GAME when invited to look at the hand, and ONLYwhen it is one or two seats to either side of you. It is NOT okay to “sweat” another players cardsat ANY time during a tournament.15.**”Show One Show All”**Show-one, show-all is enforced ONLY when the action is heads up, or if a player asks to look atthe cards that were shown (even those not in the hand).16.**One Chip Into Play**One chip committed into the middle is ALWAYS a call, no matter the denomination. The onlytime this isn’t true is when something different is verbally announced.17. **Membership Prerequisite**A player MUST have a bona fide social relationship with AT LEAST one one (1) other memberto purchase a membership.18.**Omaha**Big O games - 8 players max, unless the table unanimously agrees to add a 9th. 5/5 will be theminimum blind structure for any Omaha style game19.**Bomb Pots**Bomb Pots happen once at the top of the hour.20.**Minimum Raise**The minimum raise is DOUBLE the previous bet, NOT the difference between the original betand the raise.21.**Required Player Count to Start the Game**There must be 4 players to start a game, unless otherwise agreed upon. If there are 2 or 3players, the dealer must be tipped a minimum of $1 every hand22.**Dealers and Playability**Dealers CANNOT deal AND play, even to keep the game going.A player CANNOT buy a dealer into a bomb pot.Dealers are allowed to play at any time when not working.23.**Standard Shuffle**On tables without a shuffle machine, a standard shuffle is two shuffles, a box, a third shuffle,and a cutAcknowledgmentBy signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the rulesand regulations set forth by the Ace High Social Club poker room.ReplyForward
